About Knot Collective //

Since its first exhibition at Design Manchester 2017, The Knot Collective have been busy with new collections and new collaborations. As the only rug company in Manchester that creates high-end floor art rugs they have something to celebrate. Interior Design studio NoChintz have approached the rug makers to exhibit over two months from 1st June- 1st August at Foundation Coffee House on Lever Street, in the independent heartbeat of Manchester’s city centre.

All of the rugs will be on sale and the collective are excited to get their collection of weird and wonderful art rugs out into the public. Expect to see cat motifs, Mexican wrestlers, flying owls and geometric form.

Sinead Hanlon Co Director of The Knot Collective commented:

“This is yet again a brilliant example of what comes from collaboration and we are excited to be working together with NoChintz and the guys at Foundation Coffee House to showcase our collection of rugs; some of which have not been for sale to the public, until now. It feels brilliant to be able to display the bespoke rugs we create for our commercial and residential clients and we hope people will come down to see them, whether that’s to buy a rug for their home, gain inspiration or to just have a feel of some beautiful ruggage!”

The rugs for sale in the collection range from high-end hand-knotted pieces through to flat-weaved hurries. Artists include, The Knot Collective, Jack Teagle, Si Scott, Pete Fowler, Mike Kus and Adam Daily. All hand knotted rugs will be sold as one off pieces and measure 1.5x2m. Price ranges from £420 through to £900 for the hand-knotted pieces.
